What is welcome screen in a referral widget?

Welcome screen is the screen ( Fig: 1 ) your referrers will see when they first begin to interact with your referral campaign. They will be encouraged to earn incentives by promoting your brand to their friends in social media and email messages. We typically recommend that you use this screen to educate them on the value of your brand to their friends as well as the incentives they can earn by just submitting a few links! There is a WYSIWYG form on the “Edit UI” page ( Fig: 2) of your campaign set up flow that enables you to say whatever you want on this screen. You can even change the HTML and have special links or images embedded on this screen.

It is however, very simple to disable to welcome screen entirely. Just choose no in the dropdown that is immediately above the rich text control you use to edit this welcome screen.
