What is signicance of doctype in my website?
The doctype declaration is an instruction for the web browser about what version of the markup language the page is written in. The doctype declaration should be the very first thing in an HTML document, before the tag.
It is important because without doctype Internet Explorer 8
renders documents in quirks mode which will prevent dynamic
elements such as NextBee widgets in your page rendering correctly.
If you are unsure about your doctype then simply include this at
top of your page
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
