How do I make sure that users do not see the promotional widget after participating in the promotion?
Some of our widgets such as the one that asks users for reward token id, already have inbuilt support for this functionality. For all other widgets you can use the callback functionality available for your widgets to set the tracker cookie and render widgets code on pages only if this cookie is not set. You can either have validity of this cookie for only one session or for multiple days/years based on your preference.
