How can I control the referral message content?
You can control what the referral recipients will actually see by setting the referral message content of your choice. Your customers may be great brand representatives, but it is important that you help them with the message you are trying to communicate. You can create the subject and the email their friends will receive from them. Remember, this email will be arriving FROM the referrer (your customer) TO the inbox of their friend. In the drop down menu below the default referral message text you set, you also get to choose if you would like the user to edit the message before they send it.
We find that relatively few people ever actually change your message. However if the way you convey the message is important enough, you can keep them from changing what they send out. Additionally, there are a number of ways you can customize the emails that will go out at various points in the campaign. We have given you the options here to create and upload html templates that will contain the messages that your users send out and receive.
