Will the widgets slow down my pages?
NextBee uses smart rendering approach so that during the initial rendering of your web page, we simply create HTML tags (we render plain HTML) and then when the page load finishes we read these HTML tags to build necessary widget objects. This makes sure that during page load you do not incur any performance penalty.
If you have some other concern about performance or would like to get everything else in your page rendered first then you can always place the NextBee scripts in footer of your page and set the location preference of the widget in the Edit UI page of your setup flow so that even if the script is in the footer the actual widget can be placed anywhere in the page.
