Is there any way to have link rather than image to launch the promotion widget?
Yes, you do not need to have banner (ad) to launch the promotion widget. Enter your anchor text of choice on the “Edit UI” page of your campaign set up flow and on your setup scripts along with the banner script you will get script that renders a link which when clicked opens the same promotional widget.
