What are referral tokens and why are they useful?
Each referral token uniquely identifies one particular user to whom the token belongs.

face conversations
• Referral token make it possible for you to associate leads
with a particular user and then give credit to user only if the
lead becomes sales
• Referral token has longevity because user can simply keep
the note of token id which is not possible with the personal invite
link
By default a campaign is set so that the referral token is displayed to user after he/she sends referral to friends. This information is also sent in referral emails and posted in referral posts on social networks. You can disable this option on the "Edit Terms" screen of your campaign setup flow. If you decide to continue using referral tokens as an additional way for users to enter information about their referring friend (in addition to automated link based tracking) then you can host NextBee's widget that lets user enter a friend's referral token (or customize this widget with custom JavaScript to have titles such as "Agent Token" instead of "Friend's Referral Token").
As user enters this token and then goes through purchase/sign up process on your site (similar to link based tracking) as long as you have conversion tracking script on your order confirmation page, the referrer will automatically get credit for this sales/signup. Alternatively, in your checkout or sign up flow you can include a field called "Referral Token" and save this information along with your leads and if this lead converts to a sales then upload information about the token on "Conversions" tab using "Add Ad-hoc Conversion Credit" link.
